Our lake also shares state lines with Vermont, with only a 30 minute boat ride to Burlington. Lake Champlain is home to a number of islands, including our closest in proximity, Valcour Island. Valcour was the site of several wars in the American Revolution as well as the war of 1812 and there are still shipwrecks and cannonballs that live on the bottom of our lake. There is also a legendary lake monster named Champy that has made this lake his home for centuries, but don't worry - He's friendly! What To Expect Onboard: The Sun Tracker Party Barge is an 18' pontoon boat. It has beautiful upholstery and is extremely comfortable. Ride in style with a small group of friends to enjoy the lake and have yourselves a party. The boat has a 7 person capacity and a 60hp outboard motor. Damage/Security Deposit: A damage deposit is due at the time of reservation. The deposit is $500 for one or two day rentals. The deposit is $1,000 for 3 or more day rentals. If there is any damage to the boat, our company will deduct the cost of damage from your deposit and refund the remainder. If the cost of damage exceeds your deposit than you are responsible for paying the additional costs to our company. Please allow 14 days for refunds to process. Rental Agreement & Insurance: We do NOT carry insurance for damage caused by renters. You are accepting FULL financial responsibility for the boat during your rental. Renter is also responsible for $1,000 deductible paid to our company if the company needs to make an insurance claim for damage of $5,000 or greater caused by renter. Please check with your homeowner policy if you are covered for watercraft damage. Cancellations: Renter must cancel a minimum of 14 Days before their rental date, or they are subject to losing their deposit. We reserve the right to cancel rentals due to dangerous wind, weather, or lake conditions. Cancellations made by the company will result in the full refund of the customer's deposit OR a rescheduled date (if available).
