Scuba Diving in Anchorage

We offer 3 day dry suit certification and tour package. This package allows the diver to experience Alaska as the locals do. We’ll meet you at the dive shop to outfit you with whatever rental equipment you might need, and introduce you to your PADI Professional. After an orientation and classroom session, we’ll head to the pool for a confined water dive. This session takes from about 4-10 pm and requires some self-study prior to the session. During the confined water session we’ll introduce the operation of the dry suit inflation system, buoyancy control, proper venting techniques, and recovery methods. We use the best dry suits made for our classes to assure the success of our students. Upon the conclusion of this session, you’ll be ready to venture out to the open water! Package includes: - Student materials including instructional manual and video - Classroom, pool, and open water instruction - Rental equipment for pool and open water dives - Boat fees for 2 days of boat diving Does not include transportation to Seward. Equipment must be checked out and returned to the shop in Anchorage. Tanks or equipment may be delivered by Dive Alaska staff for an additional $25 charge.
