Relax and Enjoy The waterways of Norwalk, CT aboard a modern spacious Hunter Marine Passage 450. The captain grew up on the Hudson River & Long Island Sound and has also spent 25 years in the South Florida area and brings years of sailing experience. He is a teaching captain, thinking out loud always making all other captains feel very comfortable. The captain is also an entertainer and avid musician and most New Yorkers have heard him performing around town or on the radio doing jingles. He never quit his day job as an engineer CPA accountant legal document writer, code writer and consultant in the daily newspaper industry. Everyone will be thoroughly entertained. The boat can be repositioned across the sound to Northport or Huntington, NY or City Island or Port Washington or to Brooklyn or Jersey City. The captain can teach other sailors tips and tricks for big boat sail handling and maneuvering. This includes sailing with fractional sail exposed on the windy days to keep the ride nice and smooth and very stable. Given the full Bimini and raised solar panels covering the entire aft deck everyone can relax in the shade. Ice-filled coolers are available, and there is always a stock of 16.9 ounce bottles of water, Crystal Light ice tea mix, and whatever alcohol you want to bring onto the boat. Cruises can also be easily specially catered upon request. The boat is a center cockpit sloop-rigged sailboat with in-mast furling main and furling jib. Aft steps give easy access to the water. Aft hot and cold shower at steps. The aft deck can easily accommodate six people seated in 6 specific chairs and two others sitting on towels on the back deck under the shade of the solar panels. The large center cockpit can easily accommodate 8 people. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out on deck during a 4 or 8 hour sail. There is a full galley with microwave. The boat is fast and it does it’s theoretical hull speed of 8.4 knots with half tanks and flat seas with only 18 knots of wind. Several cushioned chase lounge seating. Please inquire about per person and per hour discounted pricing for partial days especially out of Port Washington Long Island where the boat is based. I’m looking to keep the boat extremely neat and be able to turn it over in 30 minutes for the next charter upon the current charter leaving the boat. I prefer no one brings any red cocktail sauce or red wine aboard as the cleanup becomes extremely difficult and time-consuming.. If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. Just hit, “Send Booking Inquiry” and send us an inquiry for a custom offer!
Booked Mark’s boat for a maternity photo shoot. Everything was perfect! He was very communicative and made the whole process very easy. He even came to pick us up from the beach. The boat is gorgeous and we had an amazing time. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Mark!
Our family of 5 all enjoyed a beautiful sail with Mark. Lovely boat with comfortable seating for all. Mark was very flexible with booking a time that worked for us and a very pleasant and knowledgeable captain. Recommend!

Experienced captain boat owner in the waters from Long Island sound to Martha’s Vineyard and the East Coast of the United States to Key West. 19+ years aboard.
You’ll get directions to the departure location when you make a booking.
Full refund up to 5 days prior.
If Captain cancels due to weather a 100% refund will be issued. It is requested guests do not bring red wines or red cocktail sauce on board due to the extreme extra cleanup time required. Let’s not serve anything that blows away such as potato chips. Please keep the boat neat and tidy to allow for a quick turnaround for the next outing that day. Everyone on board can drink to their hearts delight as long as they know they will be acting as designated drivers upon exiting the boat and walking through the yacht club/marina/exclusive restaurant facilities. And they will dress appropriately. Real drinkers like lawyers, airline transport pilots and captains of the sea (masters) can drink all day long and always be able to fly the airplane, captain the boat and drive home thru a checkpoint to pass a breathalyzer test.. I have tons of experience entertaining guests on the dance floor of the best clubs around New York City at 1 o’clock in the morning. It’s a whole different experience when it’s dark out and the dance floor is pitching and yawing and rolling 10 to 20°. Please remember no one has the right to be in these facilities. If you pay a $250,000 equity membership as well as annual dues you do not have even the privilege to be there. I have actually had guests that don’t understand what it’s like to visit the Queen of England and how to dress and act appropriately when walking through her facilities. Feel free to ask me about appropriate behavior when being allowed to go through these facilities. One of the first things that comes to mind is total silence. Not one word. Not one whisper.
