NICE 2015 Wenonah Fisherman Canoe for Grand Lake / Shadow Mountain Lake / Lake Granby / Willow Creek Reservoir LOOK! Canoe rental for $175 per day in Grand Lake, Colorado. This is a $2,750 watercraft! Paddles and life jackets are provided with all of our boats at no extra charge. Drop-offs and pick-ups available, so you will not need to rent a trailer. If you desire, however, a nice Yakima Rack-N-Roll canoe / kayak trailer is available for another $125/day. We also have several kayaks available for rent, so a trailer might be the best option if you rent multiple vessels. Ask for tips as to the best locations to go, as we know them all. It is what we do when these are not rented! There are some fantastic spots up here in Grand County. Many are nearby, and several have shelter from the wind. The canoe answers to the name Bella Paloma, or "beautiful dove". It is a nice ivory color and is very photogenic. The Wenonah Fisherman is a wonderful sport and leisure craft. This short, wide canoe is stable enough to set the hook on a trout exploding on your dry fly. Or to lay back and relax in as you watch a mid-summer's night meteor shower. The slightly rockered bottom makes it maneuverable, while the boat's shallow draft will get you into places other boats only desire to go. Kids and other lightweight paddlers will feel secure in the Fisherman. Not tippy at all and very efficient and quite maneuverable to paddle. Seaworthy in lake waves. This is the best canoe ever! Tuf-weave® Flex-Core material is an interwoven fabric made of 50% polyester and 50% fiberglass that outperforms either material alone. The Tuf-weave® layup results in our most durable composite canoes. Tuf-weave® canoes offer improved impact resistance and are a great compromise between lightweight, performance, and price. Anna & her husband Mark were wonderful hosts. They set us up on the water with a seamless transition and they allowed us to leave the canoe on the beach for them to retrieve when we finished our 3-day/2-night trip. They were also lifesavers as we ended up going too far down one side of the lake one morning before the wind picked up and weren't able to make it back to our campsite. Mark was kind enough to come out on his boat and was able to tow us back to our campsite. That's going above & beyond! Thanks again for a great trip! Pete & Jen
Amazing experience! I would happily rent from Anna and Mark again. Communication was amazing and we were provided with the local tips on where to camp on Granby and how to best get across the bay. We were all impressed with the quality of these canoes as well.
Mark was a very accommodating host and a joy to go out on the water with. We enjoyed a few hours out on Willow Creek and would 100% go back. It was easy to arrange, meet, and have this experience thanks to the coordination with both Mark and Anna.
A great rental experience! Mark walked us through our first family canoeing experience and we had a blast!
