Knowledge, skills, and jokes for days. We do this because we love it and we're all stoked that we get to share it with you. Our captains and crew are focused on safety and on your experience, ensuring that your adventure with us will be something you remember for years. Got a question? Just ask! Years of experience have given us a wealth of local knowledge about the islands and the wildlife we find here. Originally from a small town on the North Shore of Oahu, Captain Chris has spent most of his life either on or in the water. Growing up surfing, diving, and boating, he developed a passion for the ocean that has persisted throughout his life. After a decade traveling the world while serving as a naval officer, he returned home to Hawaii to continue working on the water. As Waikiki’s original speed boat tour, The Adventure Boat is the result of years of driving yachts and leading boat tours. We took all the best parts and got rid of the stuff nobody likes to deliver our guests the ultimate experience on the ocean.
You’ll get directions to the departure location when you make a booking.

Tours and routes may vary at the captain's discretion due to weather and ocean conditions. If you need to cancel or reschedule your tour, please contact us ahead. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but cancellations less than 48 hours before your adventure cannot be refunded. It only takes a few minutes to get everyone aboard the boat. You don’t need to be early but please don’t be late. We cannot extend tours for this as we have to be on time for our next adventure. Dress appropriately for an ocean adventure (beach attire) as you will probably get wet! Even if you don't swim or snorkel, you might be in for a wet and wild ride. If you are on one of our dining adventures, don't forget your shoes! Sandals/flip flops are fine. Dry storage is limited, so only bring what you need. You will probably want sunscreen, a hat that won't blow off, and a waterproof camera. We strongly recommend you leave non-essential items and valuables back on shore. Due to potentially bumpy conditions, our adventures are not suitable for those who are pregnant, those with bad backs or health/mobility concerns, or small children. Our adventures are safe and fun, but this is an ocean thrill ride and all tours are at your own risk. Always listen carefully and follow the crew’s instructions for your safety. Frequently Asked Questions How many people per trip? We can accommodate up to twelve guests plus our crew. We only do private charters, so it will just be you and your party. We can be a little strange sometimes, but there won't be any strangers on the boat! Can I bring my own food/drinks? Soft drinks and water are included but feel free to bring additional food and drinks. We have a large cooler with ice onboard that you can put stuff in. Special arrangements and catering are available. What should I wear? We recommend dressing like you are going to the beach. There is a good chance you will get wet, even if you are not planning to swim. There is a little shade on the boat, but you will be out in the open most of the time. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat that won’t blow off are all very good ideas! If you are going on one of our dining adventures, you will need a shirt and shoes (sandals/flip flops are fine). Bring a waterproof camera if you have one. Do you provide snorkel gear? We provide snorkel masks, snorkels, and fins, but you are welcome to bring your own. Is there a restroom on the boat? No. We recommend that you try to use the restroom at the marina before your adventure. Our dining trips stop at restaurants that do have restrooms.
