With Pattern Stories, we embrace a specific wallpaper design and tell the story behind the pattern. We want to show the craftsmanship that leads to the finished wallpaper. We call this Swedish Wallpaper Art.
This time, we tell the story of the beautiful pattern Monica. United by a passion for creating art that stands the test of time, the love story between Sandberg Wallpaper and the Swedish artist Monica Andoff began. The result is a wallpaper inspired by and deeply rooted in nature.
The Craftmanship
Monica Andoff brings her artistry to life by experimenting with plant-based dyes on paper. She meticulously picks, dries, and dyes each plant by hand. These dyed papers form the foundation of the wallpaper, which proudly bears the artist's name.
